You can delete all data Proof holds about your account and connected platforms at any time. Follow the steps below — most disconnections take effect immediately; full account erasure is confirmed by email within 1–2 business days.

Delete Your Data

    Disconnect integrations in Proof

    Open your Proof dashboard at dashboard.withproof.io Settings Integrations Remove for each connected platform. OAuth tokens are deleted immediately upon disconnection.

    Revoke access on each platform

    Even after disconnecting in Proof, you can revoke our access directly with each provider:

    • Instagram

      Instagram app → Menu (☰) → Settings and privacy → Website permissions → Apps and websites → Active → Remove Proof

    • Google

      Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access → Remove Proof

    • Shopify

      Shopify Admin → Settings → Apps and sales channels → Remove Proof

    Request full account erasure

    To permanently delete all remaining data linked to your Proof account (including aggregate trend data), email us from your registered address:

    Suggested subject line: Data Deletion Request — [your registered email]

    Stop Proof device updates (if applicable)

    If you use or plan to use a Proof device: disconnect integrations in your dashboard (Step 1) to stop server-side updates—the device will stop receiving updates and return to its default idle screen. Power-cycling the device clears volatile on-device aggregate data immediately.

What Happens Next

  • We confirm your request by email, usually within one business day.
  • All data linked to your account is permanently deleted within 1–2 business days of confirmation.
  • You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
  • If you do not hear back within 48 hours, follow up at Founder@withproof.io.
Note: Disconnecting an integration from Proof immediately deletes its OAuth tokens. Aggregate trend data stored for charts is removed within 1–2 business days of a confirmed written deletion request.
